Agenesis of the Gall Bladder

Abstract
|
|
|
Agenesis or absence of the gall bladder is a rare anomaly in the human subject. There are less than 200 recorded cases in the world, and 5 cases in our country. Diagnosis can only be confirmed by surgical exploration or necropsy. According to other associated congenital anomaly, prognosis will be changed, but agenesis of the gall bladder, it self is clinically not fatal.
Author reports a case and review literatures.
